Dark Magician Girl - Fan Art

A school project I've worked on for 2 months. The goal was to create a game-ready model that could also be used as a portfolio piece within a deadline.
I wanted to challenge myself by creating a 3D model from 2D references, so I did my best to recreate the Dark Magician Girl from Yugioh.
I sculpted the high poly in ZBrush, exported the model into Maya to create the low poly, exported the low poly to Substance for texturing, and brought it back into Maya for rigging. The wand, base and back pane were all created in Maya and textured in Substance. I experimented with Substance and discovered that I could mask particle generators, which is how the texture for the base and back pane were crafted.
On top of being exposed to Substance, I learned a lot about workflow, efficiency, as well as the art pipeline overall (Particularly about UVs, skin weighting, and rigging).
